AITA for Taking Revenge on a Neighbor Who Blocked My Driveway? We purchased a house next to a four-plex, believing we had done our research. We visited the area multiple times and checked it out thoroughly.
The night before we were set to close on the house, we discovered a troubling issue: both ends of our tiny driveway were suddenly blocked by cars we hadn’t seen before. It became clear that the tenants from the neighboring four-plex were responsible, with their vehicles obstructing our driveway.
For months, we struggled to identify the landlord. We left notes on the cars, spoke directly with the tenants, and documented everything with photos.
Despite our attempts, the tenants started throwing our notes back into our driveway or placing them on our car. We put up signs on our property, but these were vandalized with Sharpie and ripped down. When I confronted one tenant about the damage, they simply said, “What are you gonna do about it?
After a year of gathering evidence—photos, emails, phone calls, and video footage—I eventually located the property owners and contacted them. They directed me to the property manager, who was finally made aware of the situation.
Thanks to our persistence, both troublesome tenants were evicted. They now have eviction records for violating their leases, and we can finally enjoy an unobstructed driveway.

We had someone block our driveway, our yard is completely fenced in and we don’t have sidewalks or curbs. We usually don’t use our driveway to park our daily drivers in but we do block it with our own vehicles. Our driveway is also where the gate to get into the property is. Well I ran to get something to eat one night and came back and someone was blocking it. We waited to see if someone would come back and hadn’t in over an hour. So we decide to call the non emergency police number and they came out and ticketed the car about an hour later for blocking a driveway. I’m guessing they were either at a neighbors house or on the street over at the bar. I’ve also had to yell at people who have done the same thing. Like look at your surroundings before parking.
I’m on the verge of this. Running an unlicensed business behind their home and their clients constantly block my driveway. I’m calling a tow truck next time.

Well, there was other shitty bad neighbor behavior going on. Drugs. Loud arguments. Cops over there and fire department. They were just major gaping assholes to everyone around them. The parking problem was a part of the issue.
Did this with a tenant that blocked mine moved his car to the street removed the tag and called police it was abandoned towed away a day later 😜

In my town you call the city and they call the tow. If I call the tow I have to pay for the towing. City will tow at no cost and add a hefty fine for their trouble.
